It was Jessie's birthday this week. She took a day off and I was so excited to take her to lunch. We asked Grandma Dixie to go with us. We went up to the Oaks in Ogden Canyon to eat. We had a great time. I know this grandma is sure anxious for her next grandbaby to get here. Any day now this little guy will make his appearance.

A Little of my Childhood.

My mom is in charge of her family reunion this year. She asked if my sisters and I would help her in the planning.
We decided to make a quilt and raffle off. We are going to do a quilt with old photos on it. Meg and Ben downloaded so many great pictures from when I was a little girl. I was looking through them tonight and it made me feel a little nostalgic. The first picture is of my sisters and me. I am the youngest one. The next pic is with my little brother born 5 years after me. The last pic is my whole family the afternoon that I was baptized and the day we moved to Rock Springs Wyoming for 3 years. I love my family and wished we all lived closer together. When we have the quilt finished, I will post a picture of that.

Oh The Lazy Days of Summer

You can't see the sprinkler on, but they are having a ball running through the sprinkler at Grandma and Grandpa's house.

Cambodia, Phnom Penh Mission

We started this blog to let anyone who wanted to know what was going in our lives, what was going on in our lives. Just to get you updated a bit, Brent left January 9th 2008 for the MTC to prepare to serve in the Cambodia, Phnom Penh mission. Hard decision after he received an appointment to both the Air Force Academy and West Point. I can not believe that he is just about a fourth of the way done. It seems like he just left yesterday. He is out in the country right now and absolutely loves where he is at, the people and what he is doing.

Mike's Wedding

My nephew Mike got married to Haleigh in Denver last weekend. My mother and I rode over for the ceremony. It was a beautiful day. This is a picture of my mom, my sister, my nieces and great nieces.
